On June 9, we will once again honor couples celebrating the golden jubilee of their marriages. These Catholic men and women have lived out the mystery of marriage for half-a-century; 50 years of discovering the meaning of the vows they made five decades ago. They have learned that their promise to love and honor each other is what makes it possible to celebrate their sacrament through “richer and poorer” and “in sickness and in health.”
